We are very proud to welcome back the students of UCL for another fantastic year of performances.

UCL Musical Theatre Society Presents ‘In to the Woods’  A musical which intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests.

Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th February 7.30pm

UCL Jazz Society Presents ‘Birdland – a showcase concert themed around the history of the famous Birdland jazz Club in New York

Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st February 7.30pm

UCL Live Music Society Presents ‘Rhapsody’ Annual showcase of new arrangements of contemporary music

Friday 23rd - Saturday 24th February 7.30pm

UCL Drama Society Presents ‘Electra’ A Greek tragedy by Sophocles. Set in the city of Argos a few years after the Trojan War, it recounts the tale of Electra and the vengeance that she and her brother Orestes take on their mother Clytemnestra and step father Aegisthus for the murder of their father, Agamemnon.

UCL Dance Society Presents ‘Exhibition’ . Annual sell out showcase feature over 20 choreographed dances by UCL students.

Thursday 8th, Friday 9th, Saturday 10th March 7.30pm

 

This will UCLU Societies final Spring programme at the Shaw before they return to the newly refurbished Bloomsbury Theatre in 2018.
